He loves the bus!

Everyday I get to watch him interact and be a big boy! He puts his buckle on and waves goodbye.... Blows kisses... Waves I love yous... He is such a sweet heart. I miss him all day! Daisy misses him so much when he is gone, she can't hardly wait til his bus pulls up... She stares out the window til she see's it!

Brennen's big Horse Accident July 17, 2011

it was a completely whole so it made it hard for you to drink anything

this is when you got your stitches out you did so good!!! 

We were visiting grandma Owen in lewiston, Utah. and we were also there for a family reunion... there a few different versions of the story but let me tell you what i know!!! we dont know why or how or even with what foot he got kicked, but brennen did get kicked by a "devil" horse. ugh!! the kids (brennen, addi, and kael) went to feed their watermelon reins to the horses who graze in grandma's back pasture (she rents it out) and they decided they wanted to go in the pen!!! all the sudden we heard brennen bawling at the top of his lungs, by the time kemer got out there he said "all i saw was brennen backed up to the fence holding on to it for dear life." kemer actually thought he was getting electrocuted, but realized that wasn't the case when he saw that his face was gushing blood. he picked him up and ran to the grass where we had dinner layed out. he sat down and looked at brennens face. he freaked saying oh F***! and just started screaming "get in the car we are going to the hospital. when i asked if i could see what happened he tried showing me, but before i could get a look he pulled him back in towards his chest and screamed again!!! so after NOT obeying all the traffic laws like the 911 operator asked us to do when we asked her for directions, we finally made it to the hospital. they brought us back immediately and laid brennen down in just a basic curtain room, the Dr came in and instantly said oh hell no, and moved us to the triage room. they got brennens sudated! finally after bawling and squirming for about 30 minutes. he was relaxed and not to worried about his "OWY" the er nurse came in and we got scans and Xrays done, "just in case" then we waited what seemed for forever for the results, he had no brain trauma but did have a few broken sinus bones in his cheek. this isn't something they do surgery for so we were glad to hear that. then we just waited for the plastic surgeon who stitched his face up... it was probably the fastest e.r. visit i have ever had. brennen took all his meds like a big boy and finally got his stitches out a week later!!! his face has healed so well and we are so lucky that this whole accident wasn't much much worse. if it woulda been an inch higher he coulda lost his eye or broken his cheek bones way worse, and lower would ripped his lip like a piece of paper!!! the scaring isn't too bad and we hope it will get better with time!!!

Brennen was Jake the pirate (disney channel) this year we got to do our ward trunk or treat with auntie nonan(morgan) and bammie and the cousins dually and kaymie. we had so much fun getting them all dressed up in their costumes... and they had a blast going from trunk to trunk... brennen thought they were saying crispy treat the whole time... i couldnt get him to say it right... lol. maybe next year. over all it was a great ngiht!!! brennen loved having his cousins around!!!
